A Tour of Egmont Key for newer members is planned for Sunday, Dec. 2nd, 2018.
There will be three ways to get there that day:
- The TBX will leave the clubhouse at 8:00 am and transport 10-12 members
- Drive on your own to the mullet key south pier (3500 Pinellas Bayway S.)
- Transport in your own vessel directly to the pier by the lighthouse dock on Egmont key adjacent to the ranger station.
For those going to Mullet Key, we will muster at 9:00 am and load member’s boats to be transported to Egmont. The ferry is cost prohibitive.
BG Charlie Spicola will begin the tour on Egmont at approximately 10 am. We will transport some bottled water and sandwiches. We will return between 1 and 2 pm.
This is basically for last year’s and this year’s new members, no guests.
If you can attend, RSVP as to whether you will go on the TBX, self transport by car, or self transport by boat. If you are going by boat, advise in your email if you can transport additional members.
If there is inclement weather, we will cancel and reschedule.
