News Channel 8 Kindness Day

KINDNESS DAY is upon us and we’re stoked about this year’s GOODY BAG! It is the best ever and should drive some traffic to the event.

I wanted to share with you our PRESS RELEASE which is going out on MONDAY – PLEASE share it on MONDAY with your mailing lists.

I’ve also attached our :30 TV SPOT and NEWSPAPER ads promoting the event - you can SHARE BOTH NOW on your social media pages!

REMINDER- please read:

·          YOU can load your vehicles in on Thursday between 4-6pm. All vehicles need to be in place between 5 - 5:15 am on Friday. There will be cars on the street lining up and it will be difficult to get in the lot after 5:30.

SO EVERYONE - PLEASE ARRIVE FRIDAY MORNING AS CLOSE TO 5AM AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN so we’ll all be in place and ready to go. GATES OPEN AT 6AM.

·          PARKING is in our 3-STORY PARKING GARAGE – stop at the gate and hit the red button, guards will let you in. 200 S. Parker St., Tampa  33606

·          Do not park anywhere else or you’ll be towed – the other lots below to Tampa General Hospital.

WFLA News Channel 8 will host its 10th annual KINDNESS DAY on Friday, Dec. 13 at News Channel 8 located at 200 S. Parker St. in Tampa.

The four charities benefiting from KINDNESS DAY include Feeding Tampa Bay, OneBlood, Toys for Tots and the Teddy Bear Roundup. Volunteers will accept donations Friday starting at 6 a.m. and continue until 7 p.m. Donations can be dropped off at News Channel 8 via a fast and easy drive-through system. The drop-off location will be at the station’s visitor parking lot. OneBlood’s buses will also be on site to accept blood donations for those that have time to stop, park and donate.

Rough Riders will be there collecting Teddy Bears.  6Am - 7PM
